This book was good for the basketball part and the championship. It was very predicable. You mean the main character goes to the championship, has to make a decision to throw the game, or win the championship but never be able to play in the NBA. Hmm Hmm, Oh wait you got it to. Horrible Plot and Rated T for illegal useage, and swearing.

If you have ever lost a parent and then the one left got remarried then you should know how Jamie feels.She lost her mom when she was around the age of 2. Now her dad is getting remarried to Tracy who he met at a picnic. Tracy has a kid named Michaela who lost her dad when she was little. You should read this book.

Rookie of the year

This was a very good book. The thing that made this book so enjoyable was the never quite attitude of the team. The thing I learned from this book was how mad the manger got so hard on the young talent of the team but, by showing his angery really helped the team. It must have been hard because the manger Spike Russel is also the young shortstop for the Brooklyn Dodgers. The team in just two months came from last to first to make the playoffs. Alan O '12
