Boy Who Saved Baseball, The

If you are a fan of sports books with a quirky twist to them, then you need to read this book by John H. Ritter. It is filled with sports talk as a local baseball team becomes responsible for the fate of the entire town. Ritter has a lot of fun inventing new words to describe the action, and his vivid language choices only enhance the action. The ending of the book is really unexpected.

The best part of the book is the richness with which Ritter develops each of the main characters. They seem to jump off the page, they are that realistic.

This book was really great. It has sports, some action, sad parts, and very little romance. This book got really exciting at the end. And all the kids on the team are like 12 and 13. So then i could relate this book to myself in my life. I hope you will read this book.

it was an okay book. if you like sports it might be for you. A lot of the words that they used made me laugh because....i don't know....it was just funny in a non funny way. It had a tad of romance between Tom and Maria. It kept you wanting more and more of the book. Hopefully Mr. John writes another.
